Mike Tyson had a medical emergency on a plane and his representative has explained what happened.

The 57-year-old professional boxer was on an American Airlines flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Sunday when the emergency occurred, reports Klankosova.tv.

“Mike had some sort of medical emergency on the plane when the medics came in,” said an eyewitness. “Before the medics arrived, the flight issued an announcement asking for a medic, the message also appeared on everyone’s screens.”

Meanwhile, the boxer’s representative said: “Fortunately, Tyson is doing very well. He had some confusion and was groggy due to a flare-up of an ulcer 30 minutes before landing.”

“He is grateful to the doctors who helped him.”
