UPDATE: According to a statement from the West Virginia State Police, two people have succumbed to their injuries from a wreck earlier this afternoon.

Around 2:53 Troopers responded to a multi-vehicle wreck on eastbound U.S 460 near East Martin Drive.

Upon arrival Troopers discovered four vehicles involved in the crash. One of the vehicles containing 3 individuals had overturned trapping them inside.

Emergency personnel from the East River Fire Department and Princeton Rescue Squad responded to the scene to assist with extricating and treating the injured.
